The Victron DC-DC Buck-Boost Converter 100 A - ORI303100000 is a converter for charging 12V or 24V auxiliary batteries in vehicles with an intelligent alternator. The converter will charge the auxiliary battery with a pre-set voltage, which eliminates high (e.g. Mercedes: 15.4V) or low voltages.
The built-in "engine running" detection system prevents deep discharge of the vehicle's starter battery. In addition to this detection system, the converter can also be activated via a programmable input (D+ connection, CAN bus or (+)15).
The converter can be fully programmed via a simple and easy to use PC application (USB Type A male to USB Type B male cable required).
The converter can be programmed to charge 12V or 24V auxiliary batteries from an alternator and a 12V or 24V starter battery.
