What current do I need in a 24V-12V converter?

The 12 V side, taking into account the combined power consumption of everything connected to it and adding a 25 % margin. When the voltage is stepped down, the output current is greater than the input current: a converter delivering 30 A at 12 V draws around 16 A from the 24 V side. Size the fuse and the cable section on each side has its own current, not the same one.
