48 V rack-mounted lithium battery: SIMPO 5000 and SIMPO 5000i
Both are batteries from 51.2 V and 100 Ah (5.12 kWh) in a 19-inch rack format, with a switch built into each module and up to 80 units in parallel without any external management devices. They configure themselves automatically when connected, without the need for an app, and support hot-swapping.

Rack cabinets and ZYC battery packs with cabinet
To install several SIMPO units, ZYC manufactures pre-wired rack cabinets: you simply fit the modules, connect them to the inverter, and the array is neatly organised and protected.

ZYC SIMPO versus Pylontech US5000
The Pylontech US5000 is the best-known 48 V rack-mounted battery on the market, and the SIMPO is its direct alternative. The main differences are:
- Capacity: The SIMPO has 16 cells and 51.2 V (5.12 kWh); the US5000 has 15 cells and 48 V (4.8 kWh). With three modules, that’s 15.36 kWh compared with 14.4 kWh.
- Protection: Each SIMPO has its own circuit breaker, so you don’t need an external circuit breaker for the battery.
- Cold: The SIMPO 5000 charges from -10 °C, making it useful in country cottages and unheated industrial buildings.
- Support: ZYC has its own technical support and repair service in Madrid.
If you already have a system with Pylontech batteries, do not mix brands within the same battery bank: either expand it with the same brand or set up a new battery bank.
SIMPO FlexVolt and SIMPO HV
SIMPO FlexVolt It is a 48 V system with 8 kWh modules, a continuous current rating of 200 A and IP65 protection, in 16 kWh packs y 32 kWh. SIMPO HV This is the high-voltage range for HV hybrid inverters: towers with 3.2 kWh modules, IP65 rating and capable of operating at temperatures from -10 °C, ranging from 6.4 to 28.8 kWh.

We combine the SIMPO 5000i with an inverter-charger Victron MultiPlus-II y Cerbo GX at off-grid solar kits 5.12, 10.24 and 15.36 kWh, with or without a pre-wired cabinet.
