Maxge is the European manufacturer specialising in electrical protection components for photovoltaic installations. Based in Spain, Maxge has developed the Alpha+ range specifically for the requirements of the solar sector: DC circuit breakers approved at 500VDC and 1,000VDC for photovoltaic direct current, where the electric arc in the event of a short circuit is significantly more difficult to extinguish than in alternating current.
At FVComponentes.com we have the following range of products Maxge Alpha+: AC two-pole MCBs (curve C, 6kA) from 10A to 40A for inverter output circuit protection; DC 500VDC circuit breakers (2P) from 16A to 40A for DC line protection in 12V, 24V and 48V systems. All comply with IEC 60947-2 and are approved for photovoltaic installations according to REBT ITC BT-23.
