The Maxge 2P, 25A, 30mA, Class F, 10kA residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) is a bipolar Class F residual current circuit breaker designed to protect people against indirect contact in single-phase installations.

Class F residual current devices (RCDs) detect, in addition to the sinusoidal and pulsating continuous faults detected by Class A devices, mixed-frequency fault currents generated by equipment with single-phase power electronics: frequency converters, heat pumps and inverter-type air conditioners, washing machines, swimming pool pumps and inverters. In such circuits, a Class AC or A residual current device may fail to detect faults or trip prematurely; Class F devices prevent both of these problems.

With a rated current of 25 A, a sensitivity of 30 mA and a breaking capacity of 10 kA, it is suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.

Applications

Residual current protection for circuits supplying heat pumps, inverter air conditioning systems, variable-speed pumps and other single-phase electronic loads. Please note that the RCD does not provide protection against overloads: it must be used in conjunction with the appropriate circuit breaker.
