The ZYC SIMPO 5000i is the entry-level model in the SIMPO range: same 19″ rack format, same capacity of 5.12 kWh at 51.2 V and the same built-in circuit breaker, with slightly lower temperature and current ratings than the SIMPO 5000.

It’s worth bearing this in mind before you buy, as the name can be misleading: The 5000i is not a higher-spec version, but rather the input option.

If the battery is going to be kept in a cold environment or if you’ll be demanding a high charging current, choose the SIMPO 5000. If it’s going to be kept in a temperature-controlled indoor cupboard with moderate power consumption, the 5000i is perfectly adequate and offers better value for money.
