Features of the Victron Centaur 24/30 (3) Charger - CCH024030000 Quality without compromise

The housing of the Victron Centaur 24/30 (3) Charger - CCH024030000 is an epoxy powder coated aluminium enclosure with anti-drip protection and stainless steel fixings that withstand the rigours of a harsh environment: heat, humidity and salt air. The circuit boards are protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Temperature sensors ensure that the power components will always operate within specified limits, if necessary by automatically reducing the output current in extreme environmental conditions.

Universal AC input voltage range 90-265 V and also suitable for DC supply (AC-DC and DC-DC operation)

All models will operate without adjustment over an input voltage range of 90 to 265 volts, either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The chargers also accept a DC supply of 90-400 V.

Three outputs, each of which can supply the full output current

Three isolated outputs to simultaneously charge 3 battery banks Each output is capable of supplying the full rated current.

Three-stage, temperature-compensated charging

The Centaur bulk charges until the output has been reduced to 70% of rated amperes, at which time a 4-hour timer begins After the timed period, the charger switches to float speed. An internal temperature sensor is used to compensate the charge voltage by - 2 mV/ºC (- 1 mV/ºF) per cell. A DIP switch is available to select the optimum charge/float voltages for flooded lead acid, gel or AGM batteries.
