Details of the Maxge 2P residual current device, 40A, 300mA. Class A. 10kA

Maxge 2P residual current device, 40A, 300mA. Class A. 10kA – EPR2A040300

The Maxge 2P, 40A, 300mA residual current circuit breaker. Class A. 10 kA is a bipolar residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) from the Maxge tertiary range, with a sensitivity of 300 mA, designed to protect installations against insulation faults and the risk of fire, not for the protection of persons.

300 mA residual current devices are commonly used as head-end or line protection in commercial and industrial installations, in selective combination with 30 mA residual current devices downstream, and in circuits where regulations permit this sensitivity. Its Class A rating detects both alternating and pulsating direct current leakage, making it suitable for circuits with variable frequency drives, chargers and inverters, and it is highly immune to false tripping caused by lightning strikes, transients or switching operations.

With a rated current of 40 A and a breaking capacity of 10 kA, it provides robust protection in distribution boards.

Applications

Fire protection against insulation faults in main and secondary distribution boards, supply lines to sub-distribution boards, and residual current protection in tertiary and industrial installations. For personal protection in terminal circuits, use a 30 mA residual current device. Remember that the residual current device does not protect against overloads: it must be used in conjunction with the appropriate circuit breaker.

Delivery deadlines

At FVComponentes.com we have stock of the references with the highest turnover, however our catalogue is so wide and economical because we work with many of the references on request. This means that the usual delivery time of 2-4 working days can be extended to 1-2 weeks + subsequent shipment by us. Thanks to this, we can offer very competitive and attractive prices to our customers that are difficult to match. If you wish, you can write to us via the chat on the website, call us at 968 97 83 01 or write to us at comercial@fvcomponentes.com to check if we have stock or the delivery time of the component you wish to purchase before finalising your order.
