The Victron RS 48/6000 230V SmartSolar inverter is a combination of a powerful 48 V DC, 6 kVA, 230 V AC inverter and a high voltage, 80-450 V DC, 4 kW MPPT solar charger. Thanks to its modern design and high-frequency technology, the inverter weighs only 11 kg and has excellent efficiency, low standby power and very quiet operation.

The Victron RS 48/6000 230V SmartSolar inverter is equipped with a display for reading the details of the battery, inverter and solar charger. These parameters can also be read via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect app. In addition to this, the inverter has a VE.Direct port and a VE.Can port, for connection to a GX device for system monitoring.

The Victron RS 48/6000 230V SmartSolar inverter is a 48V 6kVA inverter with 450VDC 4kWp PV input. It is used in off-grid solar applications where AC power is required.

Combination of inverter, bidirectional DC-DC converter and MPPT

The inverter produces a perfect sine wave, capable of powering high-power appliances. It is powered by a bi-directional DC-DC converter, which can charge the battery when excess solar power is available or convert the battery when needed.

Wide MPPT voltage range

80 - 450VDC, with a PV starting voltage of 120VDC.

Lightweight, efficient and quiet

Thanks to high-frequency technology and a new design, this powerful inverter weighs only 11 kg. In addition to this, it has excellent efficiency, low standby power and very quiet operation.

Display and Bluetooth

• The display reads the parameters of the battery, inverter and solar charge controller.
• The same parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device.
• In addition, Bluetooth can be used to configure the system and change the settings with VictronConnect.

VE.Can and VE.Direct port

For connection to a GX device for system monitoring, data logging and remote firmware upgrades.

Built-in photovoltaic isolator

Both parallel PV strings connected to the MC4 sockets can be safely isolated with the large built-in switch on the bottom of the unit.

I/O connections

Programmable relay, temperature sensor and voltage sensor connections. The remote input can also be configured to accept the Victron miniBMS.
