This new device retains the essential features of its predecessor, but incorporates automation, ensuring that your PV system continues to operate even if there is an outage in the main power grid. With Combi-Max, your solar system becomes more cost-effective and efficient.

• The Toscano Combi-Max 2x50A backup switch - 10005140 monitors the presence of mains voltage at all times. If it detects that the mains voltage disappears, it allows the inverter to operate in "ISLAND MODE" disconnected from the mains.
• Once the mains supply has been disconnected from the grid, it sends the order to run in "island mode" to the inverter so that it can continue generating from the energy obtained from the panels and/or the batteries it may have installed.
• At this point, the selected parts of the installation will once again be supplied by the inverter, and the grid will remain physically disconnected. When the presence of the grid is detected again, it removes the "island mode" run command and reconnects the installation to the grid.
