AGM technology

AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed in a glass fibre mat between the plates by capillary action.

Due to the use of calcium lead grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for long periods of time without recharging. The discharge rate is less than 2 % per month at 20°C. The self-discharge rate doubles with each increase in temperature from 10 %.

High cycle capacity

More than 500 cycles at 50 % discharge.
