Huawei SUN2000-600W-P Optimiser – 02313TTE-003

The Huawei SUN2000-600W-P Optimiser (part number 02313TTE-003) is a DC-DC converter that is installed on the rear of each solar panel, for modules up to 600 W. It manages the maximum power point (MPP) of each module independently, thereby improving system performance in the event of partial shading or where panels are oriented differently from the rest of the string, and provides module-level shutdown and monitoring.

Compatibility of the Huawei SUN2000-600W-P Optimizer – 02313TTE-003

Compatible with the Huawei and SUN2000 single-phase inverters from the L1 series and the three-phase inverters from the M1, M2/M5 and M3 series. The pairing time is less than 1.5 minutes. All modules or only a subset of them can be optimised, whilst in each case adhering to the limits on the number of optimisers and the power per string specified by Huawei for each inverter.

Important information before you buy

  • It withstands a maximum short-circuit current (Isc) of 14.5 A. If your modules exceed that value – as is the case with many of today’s TOPCon and n-type panels – you will need the Huawei MERC-600W-PA0 Optimiser (02314NYD), which has a current rating of 16 A.
  • It belongs to the same family as the Huawei SUN2000-450W-P2 Optimiser (02313TTE-004), so both references they can indeed be combined in a single facility.
  • It must not be mixed connected to the same inverter with the optimisers MERC-600W-PA0, MERC-1100W-P or MERC-1300W-P. The Huawei does not allow different families of optimisers to be combined in the same unit, so if you are going to expand an existing installation, check first which model you already have installed.
  • Model currently being replaced by the Huawei. If your installation is new and you are starting from scratch, the recommended model is the MERC-600W-PA0.

Features of the Huawei SUN2000-600W-P Optimizer – 02313TTE-003

It has an IP68 rating and is designed to be installed directly beneath the solar panel to which it is connected, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and MBUS communication via the DC cable itself. The input cable supplied with the optimiser is 0.15 m long and the output cable is 1.3 m long, both fitted with Staubli MC4 connectors. Weight: 0.6 kg, including cables. Suitable for all types of panels up to 600 W.
