48V-48V : DC-DC converters / Boosters

The DC-DC converters from 48 V to 48 V They do not alter the voltage: they stabilise and isolate it. They are used to power sensitive equipment from a 48 V battery bank, the voltage of which ranges from around 42 V when the battery is flat to over 57 V during absorption charging.

Why does a 48 V system need a 48 V converter?

Because “48 V” is a nominal value, not an actual voltage. A 48 V lithium battery pack varies widely depending on its state of charge, and there is equipment — telecommunications, instrumentation, control electronics — that only operates within a narrow range.
