Battery monitors

A battery monitor - also called a coulombmeter or battery monitor - measures in real time the state of charge (SOC), voltage, current and temperature of the battery bank of a solar installation. Without it, you do not know how much energy you have available and whether the battery is being correctly charged and discharged, which leads to over-discharging that shortens the life of the battery.
