Details of the Single-phase voltage stabiliser with servomotor, 7.5 kVA (6 kW), 230 V ±21 TP65T
Single-phase voltage stabiliser with servomotor, 7.5 kVA (6 kW), 230 V ±21 TP65T – FVC-M1-7K5
The M1-7.5 single-phase voltage stabiliser automatically corrects voltage dips and surges in the mains supply and delivers a constant output voltage of 230V ± 2%. It operates using a servomotor-driven variac and a step-up transformer: the electronic control system continuously compares the input voltage with an internal reference and adjusts the variac to maintain the output within a very narrow range.
As it is a continuous regulation system (rather than step-by-step), the output voltage is stable and clean, making it ideal for sensitive loads. It features a manual bypass for maintenance or to continue supplying power to the load directly from the mains if necessary.
When do you need a stabiliser?
- Installations at the end of the line or in rural areas where the voltage drops significantly at peak times or rises excessively.
- When a photovoltaic inverter is disconnected due to overvoltage or undervoltage in the grid.
- To protect electronic and IT equipment, air-conditioning systems, pumps, boilers, and medical or safety equipment that are sensitive to voltage fluctuations.
How to choose the power rating
The power rating given is apparent power (kVA). Add up the power of the loads you are going to connect and allow a margin of at least 20–30 %; if there are motors, compressors or pumps, take their peak starting current into account. This model supports an output of up to 26A.
