AGM Batteries

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries are sealed lead-acid batteries in which the liquid electrolyte is absorbed in a glass fibre mesh, eliminating the risk of spillage and allowing them to be installed in any position. They are the most evolved lead-acid technology: maintenance-free, more resistant to vibrations than flooded lead-acid batteries and compatible with any conventional charger or MPPT regulator.

AGM Deep Cycle: Victron's standard deep cycle range. Designed for repeated discharging and recharging in off-grid solar installations, backup systems and marine. Capacities available from 22Ah to 240Ah at 12V. Guarantees a minimum of 500 cycles at 50% discharge.
AGM Super Cycle: high durability version with thicker plates. Up to 750 cycles at 80% discharge - 50% longer life than standard Deep Cycle. Available in 125Ah, 170Ah and 230Ah. The right choice when heavy use and frequent discharges are expected.
