To comply with SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea), all Mass battery chargers are compatible with the GMDSS system. GMDSS stands for Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, and allows users to monitor a variety of alarm functions. Stand-alone GMDSS remote panel compatible with all Mass battery chargers.

Charging Lithium Ion Batteries

Although lithium-ion batteries are becoming increasingly popular, the charging process may not be entirely clear. This is not a problem for Mastervolt, since the battery chargers Mastervolt communicate directly with the lithium-ion battery via the integrated MasterBus.
