With a capacity of 70 amps and 1000W power, This DC-DC booster converter is designed for dual battery systems in vehicles, motorhomes, campers and boats that demand maximum charging current from the alternator.
This 70A adaptive DC-DC charger incorporates the revolutionary cooling technology by aluminium printed circuit board (Aluminum PCB), achieving an exceptional efficiency of 98,5% without the need for fans. Its fanless design ensures completely silent operation, ideal for installation in the living spaces of campers and motorhomes.
The Victron Orion XS 70A is an integral part of the Victron ecosystem, offering complete monitoring and control through Integrated Bluetooth and VE.Direct connection. Compatible with the VictronConnect app, it provides full control of the charging system:

Its 1000 watts of power make it the ideal solution for systems with large capacity lithium battery banks, where the charging rate from the alternator is a critical factor. The input and output currents are configurable in 0.1A increments, allowing precise adjustment to the needs of each installation.
Fanless cooling technology: efficiency 98.5%
Innovative heat dissipation technology using Aluminium PCB allows the Victron Orion XS 70A to operate at full capacity up to 40°C without the need for fans. This fanless design eliminates noise, reduces maintenance and increases the lifetime of the equipment. With a efficiency of 98,5%, In addition, heat losses are minimal, optimising the energy transferred from the alternator to the auxiliary battery to the maximum.
Intelligent engine detection and alternator protection
