Details of the Victron Smart Battery Protect 48V-100A - BPR110048000

Features of the Smart Battery Protect 48V-100A - BPR110048000

Protects the battery from excessive discharging and can be used as a system on/off switch

The Smart Battery Protect 48V-100A - BPR110048000 disconnects non-essential loads from the battery before it is fully discharged (which would damage the battery) or before it runs out of sufficient charge to start the engine. The on/off input can be used as a system on/off switch.

Bluetooth: easy programming

When programming the Smart BatteryProtect via Bluetooth, the desired activation/deactivation levels can be defined. Alternatively, the programming pin can be used to define one of the nine activation/deactivation levels (see manual).

If necessary, Bluetooth can be disabled.

A special configuration for Li-Ion batteries

In this mode, BatteryProtect can be controlled via the VE.Bus BMS.

Note: BatteryProtect can also be used as a charging switch between a battery charger and a Li-ion battery. See the connection diagram in the manual.

Ultra-low power consumption

This is important in the case of Li-Ion batteries, especially after a low voltage disconnection.
Please refer to our Li-Ion battery datasheet and the manual for the Li-Ion battery. VE.Bus BMS for more information.

Overvoltage protection

To prevent damage to sensitive loads due to overvoltage, the load is switched off when the DC voltage exceeds 16.3V or 32.6V respectively.

Fireproofing

Without relays but with MOSFET switches, therefore no sparks.

Delayed alarm output

The alarm output is activated if the battery voltage drops below the preset cut-off level for more than 12 seconds. Therefore, starting the engine will not activate the alarm. The alarm output is a short-circuit proof open collector output to the negative (minus) rail, with a maximum current of 50 mA. Normally, the alarm output is used to activate an acoustic signal, an LED or a relay.

Disconnection and delayed reconnection of the load

The load shall be disconnected 90 seconds after the battery voltage drops below the preset level. If the battery voltage rises back towards the switch-on threshold within this period of time (after e.g. the engine has been started), the load shall not be disconnected.
The charge will be reconnected 30 seconds after the battery voltage has risen above the
default reconnection.

Delivery deadlines

At FVComponentes.com we have stock of the references with the highest turnover, however our catalogue is so wide and economical because we work with many of the references on request. This means that the usual delivery time of 2-4 working days can be extended to 1-2 weeks + subsequent shipment by us. Thanks to this, we can offer very competitive and attractive prices to our customers that are difficult to match. If you wish, you can write to us via the chat on the website, call us at 968 97 83 01 or write to us at comercial@fvcomponentes.com to check if we have stock or the delivery time of the component you wish to purchase before finalising your order.
