The SuperPack 12.8V/100Ah NG is a state-of-the-art lithium battery designed to give you plenty of energy to power your entire electrical system, even the most power-hungry devices.

Technology

This battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, which are among the safest and most stable on the market.

Thanks to its technology, this battery does not release gases or oxygen, it withstands heat very well, its degradation with use is very slow and its chemical stability is very high.
That's why it lasts so much longer than other batteries.

Integrated BMS and protections

The SuperPack 12.8V/100Ah NG includes a built-in battery management system (BMS) and battery monitor.
They automatically balance and monitor the cells, and protect the battery against over-discharge, over-charging, over-temperature and under-temperature, over-current and short-circuits.
This prolongs their service life and reduces risks

It is also IP65-rated, which protects it against dust and water jets.

In addition, it has a battery on/off button that disables both the charging and discharging functions.

This ensures optimum performance and safety throughout the life of the battery, without the need for external protection systems.

Bluetooth monitoring and intelligent control

The SuperPack NG features Bluetooth Smart, allowing you to monitor and configure the battery as well as update the firmware via the VictronConnect app.

From the mobile phone or tablet it is possible to check the state of charge (SoC), battery temperature, warnings and alarms, and system status in real time.

The Instant Readout feature lets you view the most important information directly in the app's device list, without the need to connect individually to the battery.
This facilitates fast and efficient control of the system.

In addition, it has two built-in LEDs that indicate Bluetooth connectivity, warnings and alarms, and firmware update status.

External feedback signal (EFS)

One of the advanced features of this battery is the External Feedback Signal (EFS), a battery voltage signal limited to 250 mA.
This can be used in two ways:

• External Disconnect Signal (EDS): to activate redundant system protections.
• External Charging Signal (ECS): allows a charger or generator to be switched on automatically if the state of charge level is low.

This functionality brings an additional level of security and automation to complex energy systems.

Integrated self-heating function

The SuperPack 12.8V/100Ah NG has an integrated heater, designed to ensure reliable operation in cold environments and to keep the battery temperature above the safe minimum charge limit.
It has two heating modes:

• Charger mode (default)The heater is powered by the connected charger and is automatically activated when the cell temperature drops below 0 °C before charging.
• Automatic mode: the battery itself keeps the cells warm as long as there is sufficient charge.
  If the state of charge is below the set threshold, the heater switches off.

This feature is especially valuable in mobile applications or installations in cold climates.

Service life and charging cycles

The battery features an exceptional service life with up to 2500 cycles at 80 % Depth of Discharge (DoD), up to 3000 cycles at 70 % DoD and up to 5000 cycles at 50 % DoD.

The capacity loss is less than 1 % per 100 cycles at 25 °C and 100 % DoD.

This therefore guarantees years of reliable operation even in everyday applications.

Operating conditions

The SuperPack 12.8V/100 Ah NG is very temperature tolerant, allowing the battery to be used in a variety of climates and environmental conditions, making it suitable for demanding environments such as outdoor and mobile installations.

The battery withstands charging and discharging temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +55 °C, and a humidity of 90% without condensation.

In addition, it is recommended that the temperature at which the battery is stored should be between 10°C and 35°C (50°F and 95°F).

System configuration

The SuperPack NG allows parallel connection of an unlimited number of batteries to increase the total energy capacity, but does not support series connection.

Configurable discharge level

The SuperPack 12.8V/100Ah NG battery has a configurable discharge level, which is based on defining a minimum state of charge to avoid excessive discharge and maintain reserve capacity.

When the limit is reached, VictronConnect displays a low state of charge (SoC) alarm and the allowed discharge (ATD) indicator turns off until the state of charge exceeds the set threshold.

Connectivity and assembly

This battery has electrical connections (M8 screw terminals) for a robust and reliable connection.

On the other hand, it is preferable that it is placed in an upright position or on its long side for best performance and service life.
