Battery-inverter cable kit 35mm² + Fuse MEGA 125A

This kit includes everything you need to connect your battery bank to your inverter in a simple, safe and professional way. It includes specific wiring for 35 mm² batteries with crimped terminals and ready to mount, Victron fuse holder and a 125A MEGA fuse, to protect the DC line against overloads and short circuits.

What is included in the 35mm² battery-inverter wiring kit + 125A fuses?

1x Black cable 35 mm² - 200 cm: M8 terminal (inverter) + M6 terminal (battery)
1x Red cable 160 mm² - 160 cm: M8 terminal (inverter) + M8 terminal (fuse holder)
1x Red cable 30 mm² - 30 cm: M8 terminal (fuse holder) + M6 terminal (battery)
1x Fuse holder Fuse holder for MEGA-fuse Victron - CIP000100001
1x Victron MEGA-fuse 125A/80V Ceramic Fuse (5 pcs) - CIP138125020

Important: the fuse must always be installed on the positive side and as close as possible to the battery for effective protection.

In which installations can I use this battery kit?

This kit is designed for both lead-acid and lithium battery installations.

It is recommended for DC lines up to 125A. It is designed for 48V and 3000VA power inverters, such as the Inverter Charger Victron MultiPlus II 48/3000VA 48V 35A-32A - PMP482305010 or the Inverter Charger Victron MultiPlus II GX 48/3000VA 48V 35A+32A - PMP482306000
For more powerful inverters or 12V or 24V installations, it may be necessary to increase the cross-section (e.g. to 50mm²) and increase the fuse rating.

Frequently asked questions

Is this kit suitable for lithium batteries?

Yes, it is designed for both lithium and lead-acid batteries, as long as the operating current is within the recommended range.

Where is the fuse holder installed?

On the positive, between the battery and the inverter, and as close as possible to the battery to protect the wiring properly. Use the short cable to go from the battery to the fuse holder and the long cable to go from the fuse holder to the inverter.

Can I use it in 24V?

It may not be suitable. At 24V the current for the same power increases, so you usually need more cross-section (e.g. 50 mm²) and a larger fuse.

Does it include everything I need to install it?

Includes wiring with crimp terminals, Victron fuse holder and MEGA fuses. You only need basic tools for fixing and tightening.
