Victron Smart Battery Protect 12/24V 220A - BPR122022000

The Victron Smart Battery Protect 12/24V 220A - BPR122022000 disconnects non-essential loads from the battery before it is fully discharged (which would damage the battery) or before it runs out of enough charge to start the engine. The on/off input can be used as a system on/off switch.

12/24V self-regulating

Smart BatteryProtect detects the system voltage automatically and only once.

Bluetooth: easy programming

By programming the Victron Smart Battery Protect 12/24V 220A - BPR122022000 via Bluetooth, the desired activation/deactivation levels can be defined. Alternatively, with the programming pin you can define one of the nine activation/deactivation levels (see manual).

A special configuration for Li-Ion batteries

In this mode, BatteryProtect can be controlled by the VE.Bus BMS.
Note: BatteryProtect can also be used as a charging switch between a battery charger and a Li-ion battery. See the connection diagram in the manual.

Ultra low current consumption

This is important in the case of Li-Ion batteries, especially after a low voltage disconnection.

Overvoltage protection

To avoid damage to sensitive loads due to overvoltage, the load is disconnected when the DC voltage exceeds 16.3V or 32.6V respectively.

Fireproof

No relays but with MOSFET switches, therefore no sparks.

Delayed alarm output

The alarm output is activated if the battery voltage drops below the preset disconnect level for more than 12 seconds. Therefore, starting the engine will not activate the alarm. The alarm output is a short-circuit proof open collector output on the negative (minus) rail, maximum current 50 mA. The alarm output is normally used to activate a buzzer, LED or relay.
