With the latest update to the Pylontech C model, the manufacturer allows up to 16 units to be connected in parallel in the same battery group without the need for any additional accessories. If more units are required for higher storage, when connected to the inverter via CAN protocol, a Pylontech Hub port is required to unify the communications of all battery groups. If the connection to the inverter is via RS485, there is no need to use a Hub port, as the master batteries of each group will communicate with each other.
