Maxge Alpha+ 4P circuit breaker, 10A, curve C. 10kA - EPB63H4C10
The MAXGE Alpha+ 4P, 10 A, C-curve, 10 kA circuit breaker is an automatic electrical protection device designed to protect three-phase electrical installations with neutral against overloads and short circuits. It is intended for industrial and tertiary use, although it can also be used in complex electrical panels where high safety and reliability are required in the event of power failures.
Main features of the Maxge Alpha+ circuit breaker
This circuit breaker has the following characteristics:
- Pole configuration: 4-pole (3 phases + neutral), ideal for complete three-phase networks.
- Rated current: 10 amps, which is the maximum continuous current for which it is calibrated.
- Trigger curve C: suitable for circuits with loads that generate moderate current peaks on start-up, such as small motors, ballasted lighting or light industrial equipment, avoiding unnecessary tripping.
- Shearing power: 10 kA (10 000 A), which means that it can safely interrupt a short circuit with a current of up to 10 000 amperes without damage.
- Operating voltage: designed for mains voltages up to 415/240 V AC, typical in three-phase installations.
- Status signalling and marking: incorporates visual indication of the circuit breaker status and a window to place a circuit marker, facilitating its identification and maintenance.
- Connectivity: terminals designed for copper cables of common cross-sections (up to approximately 25 mm² flexible and 35 mm² rigid), which facilitates their installation in switchboards.
- DIN rail mounting: standard modular format for easy integration into switchboards.
- Dimensions: is approximately 72 mm wide (18 mm per pole), occupying a compact space in the frame.
- Regulations: complies with the international standard EN/IEC 60898-1, guaranteeing its safe use in accordance with recognised standards.
