Advanced technology and security
The Pytes Pi LV1 battery uses LFP (LiFePO₄) cells, known for their thermal stability, lower risk of overheating and superior durability over other lithium chemistries.
It has a robust internal structure with built-in BMS (field tested on the individual module). It protects against overloads, overcurrents and cell unbalance, providing reliable and safe operation.
In addition, a switch and fuses are integrated, simplifying system protection and maintenance.
The Pi LV1 is UL9540A certified on a large scale. This ensures a higher level of safety and security. It also streamlines the permitting process with local competent authorities (AHJ) for faster and easier approvals.
Scalability and configuration
The Pi LV1 battery can be expanded with additional modules in parallel, achieving configurations of up to 30.72 kWh per tower or system.

This battery features a cycle life of ≥6000 cycles at 90 % depth of discharge (DOD), Ret at 70 %, 25 ℃, which translates into many years of daily operation with very little degradation.
Its cycle efficiency is superior to the 95%, which means that almost all of the incoming energy can be recovered when discharging.
The Pi LV1 operates in moderately cold to hot environments, with typical specifications extended by the thermal design of the battery.
