Product information

The Victron Quattro Inverter 12/3000VA 120A 50+50A is a combination inverter and charger. In addition, it supports two AC inputs and automatically connects to the active input. Its many features include a pure sine wave inverter, variable load, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple features for integration into different systems, such as three-phase or split-phase systems.

Two AC inputs and two AC outputs

The Victron Quattro Inverter 12/3000VA can be connected to two independent AC power sources, e.g. to the shore power and a generator, or to two generators. It will automatically connect to the active power source. The main output has a "no-break" function. In the event of a power failure, mains or generator disconnection, the Quattro takes over the supply of the connected loads. This happens as quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption. The second output is only active when one of the Quattro's inputs has AC power. Loads that should not be battery powered, such as an air conditioner or water heater, can be connected to this output.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6 Quattro units can operate in parallel. For example: Six 48/10000/140 units will give a power output of 48kW / 60kVA and a load capacity of 840 amps.

Three-phase operating capacity

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation of up to 10 Quattro units. Ten 48/5000/70 units, for example, will give an output power of 45kW / 50kVA and a load capacity of 700 amps.

The Victron Quattro 3000VA 12V/120A Inverter is capable of three-phase operation, meaning that three units can be configured for three-phase output. But that's not all: up to 10 groups of three units can be connected in parallel to provide an inverter output of 135kW / 150kVA and over 2,000A of load capacity.

The unique PowerAssist feature

The Quattro can prevent overloads on a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power. Firstly, it will automatically reduce the load on the battery when an overload occurs. Secondly, it will draw current from the battery to compensate for generator or mains power.

Remote monitoring and control

By pairing it with a GX device (e.g. a Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and its system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely over the internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free portal VRM. Access can be carried out from a phone, tablet or PC with different operating systems. There is no limit to the level of control, from setting your Multi to automatically starting a standby generator and much more...

System configuration

- In the case of a stand-alone application, if the configuration has to be changed, this can be done in a matter of minutes by means of a DIP-switch setting procedure.
- Parallel or three-phase applications can be configured with the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
- Off-grid, grid-interactive and self-consumption applications involving grid-connected inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers can be configured with Wizards (application-specific software).
