The Fronius Ohmpilot 9.0-3 - 4,050,016 consumption controller is designed to utilise surplus solar energy for water heating. With a continuously adjustable regulation from 0 to 9 kW, it enables a highly efficient use of surplus photovoltaic current, benefiting consumers in the household. This device is primarily used to intelligently control heating elements, providing hot water in heaters and buffer storage tanks. In addition, it can also be used for infrared heating of towel radiators. In this way, solar energy can meet the average water consumption levels in a household, providing most of the hot water from April to October. As a result, maximum self-consumption, reduced CO2 emissions in the home and less wear and tear on the building's heating system during the summer months are achieved.
