Pylontech Battery Connection to Pylontech LV-HUB Hub Port

With the latest update to the Pylontech C model, the manufacturer allows up to 16 units to be connected in parallel in a single battery group without the need for any additional accessories. If more units are required for higher storage, when connected to the inverter via CAN protocol, a Pylontech Hub port is required to unify the communications of all battery groups. If the connection to the inverter is via RS485, there is no need to use a Hub port, as the master batteries of each group will communicate with each other.

A maximum of 80 units of 2.84kWh Pylontech UP2500 24V lithium battery can be connected either by one type of connection or the other.
