Mesmo quando descarregadas, as baterias permanecem isoladas, pelo que a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da bateria de servi\u00e7o, por exemplo, n\u00e3o pode descarregar a bateria de arranque.<\/p>\n<p>As pontes de d\u00edodos ARGO t\u00eam uma queda de tens\u00e3o reduzida gra\u00e7as \u00e0 utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de d\u00edodos Schottky: a baixa corrente, a perda ser\u00e1 de aproximadamente 0,3 V, e a plena sa\u00edda, 0,45 V. Todos os modelos est\u00e3o equipados com um d\u00edodo de compensa\u00e7\u00e3o que permite aumentar ligeiramente a tens\u00e3o de sa\u00edda do alternador para compensar a perda de tens\u00e3o da ponte de d\u00edodos. Obviamente, a CC estar\u00e1 presente quando o alternador estiver ligado diretamente \u00e0 bateria. No entanto, se for inserida uma ponte de d\u00edodos ou um separador FET, qualquer retorno de tens\u00e3o\/corrente das baterias para a sa\u00edda B+ ser\u00e1 impedido e o alternador n\u00e3o
