It operates using a servomotor-driven variac and a step-up transformer: the electronic control system continuously compares the input voltage with an internal reference and adjusts the variac to maintain the output within a very narrow range.<\/p>\n<p>As it is a continuous regulation system (rather than step-by-step), the output voltage is stable and clean, making it ideal for sensitive loads. It features a manual bypass for maintenance or to continue supplying power to the load directly from the mains if necessary.<\/p>\n<h3>When do you need a stabiliser?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Installations at the end of the line or in rural areas where the voltage drops significantly at peak times or rises excessively.<\/li>\n<li>When a photovoltaic inverter is disconnected due to overvoltage or undervoltage in the grid.<\/li>\n<li>To protect machinery, motors, production lines, air-conditioning systems and three-phase industrial equipment that are sensitive to voltage fluctuations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to choose the power rating<\/h3>\n<p>The power rating given is apparent power (kVA). Add up the power of the loads you are going to connect and allow a margin of at least 20\u201330 %; if there are motors, compressors or pumps, take their peak starting current into account.
