Class F. 10kA – EPR2F025030

The Maxge 2P, 25A, 30mA, Class F, 10kA residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) is a bipolar Class F residual current circuit breaker designed to protect people against indirect contact in single-phase installations.

Class F residual current devices (RCDs) detect, in addition to the sinusoidal and pulsating continuous faults detected by Class A devices, mixed-frequency fault currents generated by equipment with single-phase power electronics: frequency converters, heat pumps and inverter-type air conditioners, washing machines, swimming pool pumps and inverters. In such circuits, a Class AC or A residual current device may fail to detect faults or trip prematurely; Class F devices prevent both of these problems.

With a rated current of 25 A, a sensitivity of 30 mA and a breaking capacity of 10 kA, it is suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.

Technical specifications

Number of poles: 2 poles

Rated current (In): 25 amps

Sensitivity: 30 mA

Class F: detects intermittent, continuous, pulsating and mixed-frequency leakage currents

Operating voltage: 240V AC, 50Hz

Breaking capacity: 10 kA

Local status signalling

Window for circuit marker

Terminal connection for copper cables: up to 25 mm² flexible / 35 mm² rigid

Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm

Non-operational leakage current: 0.5 × IΔn

Dimensions: 36mm (18mm per pole)

Allows attachment of accessories and control gear

Insulation voltage (Ui) 500 V

Impulse voltage (Uimp) 4kV

IP20 protection rating (IP40 in an enclosure)

Double insulation class 2

Applications

Residual current protection for circuits supplying heat pumps, inverter air conditioning systems, variable-speed pumps and other single-phase electronic loads.
