And much more...<\/p>\n<h3>Proven reliability<\/h3>\n<p>The full-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.<\/p>\n<h3>PowerControl - Limited power from generator, shore power or mains power<\/h3>\n<p>In the Multi Control Panel a maximum current from the generator or the dock can be set. The Victron Multiplus Inverter 24V 500VA 10-16A will take over other AC loads and use the excess current for charging, thus avoiding overloading the generator or the shore power.<\/p>\n<h3>PowerAssist - Increasing the electrical capacity of the shore power outlet or generator<\/h3>\n<p>When a power peak is required for a short period of time, as is often the case, the Victron Multiplus Inverter 24V 500VA 10-16A will immediately compensate for the possible lack of power from the grid current or generator with power from the battery. When the load is reduced, the excess power is used to recharge the battery.<\/p>\n<h3>Variable four-stage charger and charging of dual battery banks<\/h3>\n<p>The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system via advanced \"variable charge\" software. The software fine-tunes the automatic three-stage process to match battery conditions and adds a fourth stage for extended periods of float.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the MultiPlus can charge a second battery using a separate limited charge output designed to charge a starter battery from the main engine or generator.<\/p>\n<h3>High starting power<\/h3>\n<p>Necessary for starting loads with high inrush current, such as converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.<\/p>\n<h3>Search mode<\/h3>\n<p>When the search mode is activated, the consumption of the inverter in no-load operation decreases by approximately 70%. In this mode the Victron Multiplus Inverter 24V 500VA 10-16A, when operating in inverter mode, switches off if there is no load or very little load, and switches back on every two seconds for a short period of time.<\/p>\n<p>If the output current exceeds a preset level, the inverter shall continue to operate.
