The new Victron Multiplus 12V 2000VA 80-32A Inverter has been designed to replace the previous MultiPlus Compact range. It brings together, in a single compact housing, a powerful sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger with variable charge technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch.<\/p>\n

Parallel operation and three-phase option<\/h2>\n

Up to six Multiplus 12V 2000VA 80-32A can be operated in parallel to achieve higher power output. In addition to parallel connection, three units can be configured for three-phase output by assigning each inverter to one of the three phases.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

When connected with a GX device (e.g. a Victron Cerbo GX MK2 Monitoring - BPP900451100<\/a>) you can monitor and control the Victron Multiplus Inverter and your system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely over the Internet from anywhere in the world using the free VRM app and the free portal VRM<\/a>. Access can be carried out from a phone, tablet or PC with different operating systems. The level of control is limitless, from setting the Victron Multiplus Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-32A to the automatic start of a standby generator. And much more...<\/p>\n

Proven reliability<\/h3>\n

The full-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.<\/p>\n

PowerControl - Limited power from generator, shore power or mains power<\/h3>\n

In the Multi Control Panel a maximum current from the generator or the shore power can be set. The Victron Multiplus Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-32A will take over other AC loads and use the surplus current for charging, thus avoiding overloading the generator or the shore supply.<\/p>\n

PowerAssist - Increasing the electrical capacity of the shore power outlet or generator<\/h3>\n

When a power peak is required for a short period of time, as is often the case, the Victron Multiplus Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-32A will immediately compensate for the possible lack of power from the grid current or generator with power from the battery. When the load is reduced, the excess power is used to recharge the battery.<\/p>\n

Variable four-stage charger and charging of dual battery banks<\/h3>\n

The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system via advanced \"variable charge\" software. The software fine-tunes the automatic three-stage process to suit battery conditions and adds a fourth stage for extended periods of float. In addition, the MultiPlus can charge a second battery using a separate limited charge output designed to charge a starter battery from the main engine or generator.<\/p>\n

High starting power<\/h3>\n

Necessary for starting loads with high inrush current, such as converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.<\/p>\n

Search mode<\/h3>\n

When the search mode is activated, the consumption of the inverter in no-load operation decreases by approximately 70%. In this mode the Victron Multiplus Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-32A, when operating in inverter mode, switches off if there is no load or very little load, and switches back on every two seconds for a short period of time. If the output current exceeds a preset level, the inverter will continue to operate. Otherwise, the inverter will shut down again.<\/p>\n

Programmable relay<\/h3>\n

The programmable relay is by default configured as alarm relay, i.e. the relay will be de-energised in case of alarm or pre-alarm (inverter is too hot, input ripple is almost too high and battery voltage is too low).<\/p>\n
