Its primary function is to add new peripheral monitoring and control options - such as sensors, actuators and relays - seamlessly integrating into solar, marine, industrial, RV and power backup applications.

Main features of the Victron GX IO-Extender 150

8 digital channels individually configurable as inputs or outputs. They accept signals from 3.8 to 5.5 V, with a maximum output current of 4 mA. They are organised in two blocks of 4 channels, configurable via internal DIP switches.

4 PWM ports with 0-5 V signal, 8-bit resolution and fixed frequency of 1.5625 kHz. They allow to control brightness of LED lights, speed of fans, motors and other devices. In addition, each channel has LED indicators that show the PWM level in real time.

2 bistable relays suitable for small loads, both AC (up to 2 A at 60 V, max. 125 VA) and DC (up to 3 A at 30 V, max. 90 W).

1 solid state relay (SSR) for DC loads up to 70 V and 4 A.

It is powered and communicates exclusively via USB, eliminating the need for an external power supply. In addition, it has a very low power consumption: typically 100 mW, with a maximum of 1W.

It is fully integrated into the Venus OS interface on GX devices and is also compatible with Venus OS Large, allowing it to be used with Node-RED for advanced automation.

It is managed both locally from the GX system and remotely via the Victron VRM portal.

Together, the GX IO-Extender 150 is the ideal solution for automating functions such as pumps, alarms, sensors and other devices in solar, marine or industrial installations.

Datasheet Victron GX IO-Extender 150 Expansion Module - BPP900800150

Datasheet Victron GX IO-Extender 150 Expansion Module - BPP900800150

Victron GX IO-Extender 150 Expansion Module Manual - BPP900800150

View Victron GX IO-Extender 150 Expansion Module manual

Power supply: USB (5 V)
Power consumption <1 W (200 mA)
Digital I/O: 8 (inputs: 3.8-5.5 V;
