This greatly simplifies most installations, saving time and money.<\/p>\n<h2>Display and Wi-Fi<\/h2>\n<p>The display shows parameters of the battery, inverter and solar charge controller. The system can be configured and parameters can be changed via Wi-Fi; these parameters can also be queried with a smartphone or other network-enabled device.<\/p>\n<h2>Inverter Charger 24V solar charge controller Victron EasySolar II GX 24\/3000 70-32 MPPT 250\/70 - PMP242307010<\/h2>\n<p>The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is connected in parallel with the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II inverter\/charger. The on\/off mechanism of the MultiPlus-II also controls the SmartSolar MPPT.<\/p>\n<h2>GX Device<\/h2>\n<p>The integrated GX device includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A BMS-Can interface. This interface can be used to connect to a battery managed by a compatible CAN-bus. This port is not compatible with VE.Can.<\/li>\n<li>One USB port.<\/li>\n<li>One Ethernet port.<\/li>\n<li>A VE.Direct port.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and the SmartSolar MPPT with a VE.Bus and a VE.Direct connection respectively.<\/p>\n<div class=\"hidden-xs\">\n<h2>Topology in line with the network<\/h2>\n<p>The EasySolar-II GX uses excess PV power to charge the batteries or to feed power back into the grid, and discharges the battery or uses grid power to supplement the lack of PV power. In the event of a power outage, the Victron EasySolar II GX 24\/3000 70-32 MPPT 250\/70 - PMP242307010 24V inverter charger will disconnect from the grid and continue to power the loads. Loads that should be shut down when AC input power is not available can be connected to a second output (not shown).
