Parallel operation<\/h2>\n

Up to six Victron Multiplus 24V Inverter Chargers 24\/5000 120-100 can be operated in parallel to achieve a higher power output. In addition, three units can be configured for three-phase output by assigning each inverter to one of the three phases.<\/p>\n

Uninterruptible alternating current (UPS function)<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the event of a blackout, or disconnection of the shore power or generator, the inverter automatically activates and takes over the supply to feed the connected loads. If connected with a GX device (e.g. the Victron Cerbo GX MK2 Monitoring - BPP900451100<\/a>) you can monitor and control the Victron Multiplus 24V inverter charger 24\/5000 120-100 and your system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely over the internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free portal VRM<\/a>. Access can be carried out from a phone, tablet or PC with different operating systems.<\/p>\n

The full-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.<\/p>\n

PowerControl - Limited power from generator, shore power or mains power<\/h2>\n

In the Multi Control Panel a maximum current from the generator or shore power can be set. The inverter will take over other AC loads and use the excess current for charging, thus avoiding overloading the generator or the shore power.<\/p>\n

PowerAssist - Increasing the electrical capacity of the shore power outlet or generator<\/h2>\n

When a power peak is required for a short period of time, as is often the case, the Victron Multiplus 24V inverter charger 24\/5000 120-100 will immediately compensate for the possible lack of power from the grid current or generator with power from the battery. When the load is reduced, the excess power is used to recharge the battery.<\/p>\n

Variable four-stage charger and charging of dual battery banks<\/h3>\n

The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system via advanced \"variable charge\" software. The software fine-tunes the automatic three-stage process to match battery conditions and adds a fourth stage for extended periods of float. In addition, the inverter charger can charge a second battery using a separate limited charge output designed to charge a starter battery from the main engine or generator.<\/p>\n

Search mode<\/h2>\n

When the search mode is activated, the consumption of the inverter in no-load operation decreases by approximately 70%. If the output current exceeds a preset level, the inverter will continue to operate. Otherwise, the inverter will shut down again.<\/p>\n
