<\/p>\nThis inverter combines a powerful sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger with adaptive technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a compact design.<\/p>\n
The main output has a no-break function. The MultiPlus takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of a blackout or mains\/generator disconnection. This happens quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) so that the electronics continue to operate without interruption.
\nThe second output is only active when one of the MultiPlus inputs has AC power. Devices that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater for example, can be connected to this output (second output available on models with a rated capacity of 3kVA or more).<\/p>\n
Up to 6 Multis can be operated in parallel to achieve higher power output and load.<\/p>\n
In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for a three-phase output. And up to 6 sets of three units can also be connected in parallel.<\/p>\n
The Multi is a very powerful battery charger. Therefore, it will use a lot of current from the generator or pontoon mains (almost 10 A per 5kVA Multi at 230 VAC). A maximum current from the generator or pontoon can be set on the Multi Control Panel. The MultiPlus will take the other AC loads into account and use the excess current for the load, thus avoiding overloading the generator or the pontoon grid.<\/p>\n
This function takes the PowerControl principle to another dimension. It allows the Victron MultiPlus Compact 24V inverter charger 24\/2000 50-30 - CMP242200000 to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. When a power peak is required for a short period of time, as is often the case, MultiPlus will immediately compensate for the possible lack of power from the pontoon current or generator with power from the battery.<\/p>\n
The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system by means of advanced \"variable charging\" software. The software fine-tunes the automatic three-stage process to match battery conditions and adds a fourth stage for extended periods of slow charging.<\/p>\n
In addition to the above, the Victron MultiPlus Compact 24V inverter charger 24\/2000 50-30 - CMP242200000 can charge a second battery; compatible with lithium batteries.<\/p>\n
Several options are available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Color Control GX and other devices, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).
