Victron has launched the Koro 640 GX S, a single unit that combines almost everything you currently have fitted separately in the 12 or 24 V system of a campervan, caravan or boat: solar charging, alternator charging, battery monitor, power distribution and the GX control unit. We\u2019ll tell you what it is, what connections it has, what problem it solves and what we still need to find out.<\/p>\n\t\t

The Victron Koro 640 GX S is a direct current (DC) distribution unit for 12 V or 24 V systems which integrates, in a single unit, two MPPT solar regulators, a DC-DC charger for charging from the alternator, a battery monitor, 18 load outputs (6 adjustable at 10 A, 3 switchable at 15 A and 9 continuous outputs of up to 25 A) and a GX communication hub. It features an inverter-charger output, 9 digital inputs, 4 tank level inputs and connectivity via VE.Bus, VE.Can, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Victron has unveiled it as a preview at METSTRADE 2026; it has not yet announced a price or release date.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
