Two AC outputs

The main output has a "no-break" function. The Victron Multiplus Compact 12V Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-50A 120V (UL 458) - CMP122200102 takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of a blackout or mains/generator disconnection. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.
The second output is only active when one of the MultiPlus inputs has AC power. Devices that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater for example, can be connected to this output (second output available on models with a rated capacity of 3kVA or more).

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6 Multis such as the Victron Multiplus Compact 12V Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-50A 120V (UL 458) - CMP122200102 can be operated in parallel to achieve a higher power output. Six 24/5000/120 units, for example, will give an output power of 25 kW/30 kVA and a load capacity of 720 amps.

In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for a three-phase output.
But that's not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be connected in parallel, providing an output power of 75 kW / 90 kVA and over 2000 amps of load capacity.

PowerControl - Limited power from generator, shore power or mains power

The Victron Multiplus Compact 12V Inverter 12V 2000VA 80-50A 120V (UL 458) - CMP122200102 is a very powerful battery charger. Therefore, it will use a lot of current from the generator or the mains (almost 10A per 5kVA Multi at 230 VAC). A maximum current from the generator can be set on the Multi Control Panel.

The MultiPlus will take over other AC loads and use the excess current for charging, thus avoiding overloading the generator or shore power.

PowerAssist - Increasing the electrical capacity of the shore power outlet or generator

This function takes the PowerControl principle to another dimension. It allows the inverter to supplement the capacity of the alternative source.

When a power peak is required for a short period of time, as is often the case, the MultiPlus will immediately compensate the possible lack of power from the mains current or generator with power from the battery. When the load is reduced, the excess power is used to recharge the battery.

Solar energy: AC power available even during a blackout

The MultiPlus can be used in PV systems, whether grid-connected or off-grid, and in other alternative electrical systems.

• In the case of a stand-alone application, if the configuration has to be changed, this can be done in a matter of minutes by means of a DIP-switch setting procedure.
• Parallel or three-phase applications can be configured with the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
• Off-grid, grid-interactive and self-consumption applications involving grid-connected inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers can be configured with Wizards (application-specific software).

On-site monitoring and control

Several options are available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Color Control GX and other devices, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).

Remote monitoring and control

Colour Control GX and other devices.
Data can be stored and displayed free of charge on the web. VRM (Victron Remote Management).

Remote configuration

Data can be accessed and system settings can be changed with a Color Control GX and other devices if connected to Ethernet.
