HE Series (Lithium batteries)
The MG HE 25.2V 100Ah 2500Wh high voltage battery, like all the HE series, is based on high energy density cells. This means that they offer more energy for less weight. The integrated battery management system offers the highest safety standards and provides information on battery status and other parameters such as battery voltage or temperature.
Great flexibility in configuring battery banks can be achieved with the HE series thanks to its modular design. With the MG HE 25.2V 100Ah 2500Wh high-voltage battery, systems can be created with a voltage range from 25.2 V to 465 V and a capacity from 2.5 kWh to 720 kWh.

The HE series batteries can be used in various applications in different sectors such as marine or photovoltaic self-consumption. For example, they can be installed as power systems for large ships, forming banks of up to 16 batteries, to power both propulsion and on-board systems, saving space and gaining in comfort.
The connections to communicate the batteries and the MG Master HV unit can be established with the more economical RJ45 cables or with the more robust and secure M12 cables. Both options can be used in low voltage battery banks up to 96V. In high voltage ranges above 96V, only M12 cables can be used.
Each battery has an integrated BMS, battery management system. The BMS is an intelligent electronic module that measures the voltage and temperature of all cells to control the correct balance between the individual cells and the battery module. The battery modules communicate with the MG Master HV (which acts as the master BMS) through an isolated galvanized CAN-Bus.
The MG Master HV manages and monitors the status of all connected batteries. If the values of any of the modules exceed the limits set in its configuration, the MG Master will take control and protect the connected batteries from possible failures.
Control and monitoring
Monitoring, protection and control are very important factors in creating safe, simple and reliable battery systems. The MG Master HV is the control and safety unit of the MG battery system. It protects the connected batteries from extreme variations in charge and temperature and controls the balance between the battery cells.
In addition to this safety function, the MG Master HV monitors and controls other important parameters to provide information to the user about battery health or power consumption.
The MG CAN-Bus protocol can be used to communicate with other applications and multifunctional monitors via NMEA2000 and web interface. The MG Master HV guarantees a safe and suitable installation for any battery system thanks to its integrated safety electronics.
Flexibility in designing storage systems is one of the key features of the products of MG Energy Systems. The combination of HE batteries in series with a Master BMS creates a perfect system for a wide range of applications. Redundant systems can also be created by connecting multiple Master BMS in parallel to increase system capacity and safety.
